- What inspired you to work in the PCB/electronics industry (or – how did you end up working here?!)?
I have been in and out of the PCB/electronics industry a few times over the years. After spending over 10 years on the road in my previous job I thought it was time to go back to my roots and to an industry I enjoy working in. - In fewer than 100 words, what does a typical workday at Active-PCB Solutions look like for you?
My primary responsibilities currently involve managing product returns at Active PCB. This includes investigating the root cause of issues, coordinating any necessary repairs and retesting, and completing detailed reports. The core objective is to strengthen our internal processes to prevent recurrence of faults, thereby driving continuous improvement in product quality. - What do you enjoy most about working with the team at Active-PCB Solutions?
No two days are the same and the day to day challenges. - Imagine it’s the end of a Friday workday – what does your ideal evening look like?
A trip into London (I really enjoy just walking around and seeing the sights). - What’s a hobby or activity you’ve recently gotten into, or one which you would love to try?
I’m a man of many hobbies but probably the latest one I’ve got into is 3D printing. - If you could wake up tomorrow being an expert at something or having a brand new skill, what would it be and why?
A successful racing driver because it would be the ultimate adrenaline experience for me. - What is the last series you binged on Netflix/Prime/etc (and would you recommend it?)
I don’t really have much time to binge a series but I did find myself getting stuck into Ginny & Georgia whilst it was on in the background. - You have two weeks off and an unlimited budget; where would you visit?
Anywhere in the United States. - What’s your go-to comfort food?
Indian. Can’t beat sitting down with a good hot curry and a bottle of Cobra! - According to an advert I saw on LinkedIn, animals are excellent for engagement, so please show off your pet (if you have one)!
I don’t have any pets currently, but I have had dogs, a cat, hamster, corn snakes, geckos and stick insects. - The same advert told me that humour was also good for engagement. Can you tell us a joke?
[There was a joke – but it was a little bit rude, so I’ve edited it out. Sorry Andrew. I laughed though] - Mark set the following question: If you won £200million on the Euromillions, what would you buy or do first?
Make sure my family were financially settled. (I had to say that…right?!) - And finally! Can you think of a question to ask the next person on ‘Meet The Team’?
If you could travel back in time, what period would you go to and why?
