In this edition of Meet the Team we put our questions to the lovely Beata. Beata is Active-PCB’s Office Manager and keeps everything running smoothly.
Name: Beata Ronchi
Job Title: Office Manager
Joined Active-PCB Solutions: March 2025

- What inspired you to work in the PCB/electronics industry (or – how did you end up working here?!)?
I’ve done admin for all sorts of places, which I’ve always enjoyed. After my last job finished, I was on the lookout for a new challenge, and this one at Active PCB just came up at the right time. It was a perfect fit for what I was after. - In fewer than 100 words, what does a typical workday at Active-PCB Solutions look like for you?
A typical say sees me wearing a dew different hats, to be honest. It’s about keeping the office running smoothly, whether that’s making sure everyone has what they need or looking after our customers. There’s always a lot going on, but I enjoy keeping everything organised and making sure it’s a nice place for everyone to work. - What do you enjoy most about working with the team at Active-PCB Solutions?
The thing I enjoy most is definitely the general vibe and the people I work with. It’s a very welcoming and friendly team, which makes for a brilliant atmosphere. That team spirit really makes the day fly by. - Imagine it’s the end of a Friday workday – what does your ideal evening look like?
In the summer, you will probably find me down at the Dummer Down Farm with my family, the dog and some friends, just enjoying the long evenings, good beer and food from the food trucks. But once it gets a bit chillier, it’s all about a cosy night in. We will get some mates over, cook up something nice or just order takeaway, and get the board games out. - What’s a hobby or activity you’ve recently gotten into, or one which you would love to try?
Is annoying the husband a hobby? Only joking. Not a new hobby, but I am actually about to swap gyms for one with a pool, so I am looking forward getting back into swimming alongside my usual classes. It will be a nice change. - If you could wake up tomorrow being an expert at something or having a brand new skill, what would it be and why?
Without a doubt, it would be to wake up fluent in Italian. My husband is Italian and his mum is one of the loveliest people you could ever meet. We have a running joke that every time we see her, I promise her that next time I’ll be able to speak properly with her, and it just never happens! It would be brilliant to finally be able to chat with her properly. - What is the last series you binged on Netflix/Prime/etc (and would you recommend it?)
I’ve just started watching The Twisted Tale of Amanda Knox on Disney Plus. It’s a new series and I had actually watched the documentary on Netflix about her last week. It’s really interesting to see the story retold in a different format. I’m enjoying it so far, so yes, I would recommend it, especially if you’re interested in true crime. - You have two weeks off and an unlimited budget; where would you visit?
My plan would be to gather the whole gang—my family, my husband’s family, and a group of friends—and charter a top-of-the-range luxury cruise ship. Or, if not the whole ship, at least book all of the most decadent presidential suites on it for everyone. We’d just drift around - What’s your go-to comfort food?
“Schabowy z ziemniaczkami i mizerią” – a typical Polish dish, which means pork schnitzel with potatoes and cucumber salad. - According to an advert I saw on LinkedIn, animals are excellent for engagement, so please show off your pet (if you have one)!
You can see Tula above! (Editor comment – she’s like a teddy bear!) - The same advert told me that humour was also good for engagement. Can you tell us a joke?
What’s the best thing about Switzerland? I don’t know but the flag’s a plus. - Adam set the following question for you: If you could go to the pub and have a couple of drinks with any famous person, dead or alive, who would it be and why?
Marie Sklodowska Curie would be an absolutely fascinating person to have a couple of drinks with at the pub. She was the first woman to win a Nobel Prize and the only person ever to win Nobel Prizes in two different scientific fields- Physics and Chemistry - And finally! Can you think of a question to ask the next person on ‘Meet The Team’?
What’s one surprising thing your coworkers might not know about you?
